Viruses

Prior Knowledge: i know that viruses are a flaw that the computer allows to enter and it may ruin it or steal information about it. 

1. Questions: Why were they created?
2. What are they made of?
3. What is the purpose of the viruses?
4. who created the first virus? 
5. Was it on purpose the virus? Or was is a mistake.

What is a computer virus?
a  computer virus are small program software that are used to interfere with the computer operation. 
What do Computer virus do?
A computer virus might corrupt or delete data on your computer, use your email program to spread itself to other computers, or even erase everything on your hard disk. They normally come from email attachments so you must verify first who send it. Also virus can come from downloads or images. 
How to know if you have a virus:

• Computer running slow
• Computer stops responding or freezes often. 
• Computer crashes and restart every few minutes 
• Your computer restarts on its own and then fails to run normally
• Applications on your computer don't work correctly
• Disks or disk drives are inaccessible
• You can't print correctly
• You see unusual error messages

You see distorted menus and dialog boxes

Types of Virus:

• Trojan Horse: It looks like it is going to have  a useful and desired function.  Secretly the program performs other, undesired functions. A Trojan Horse neither replicates nor copies itself, but causes damage or compromises the security of the computer. A Trojan Horse must be sent by someone or carried by another program and may arrive in the form of a joke program or software of some sort.
• Worms: The worm may do damage and compromise the security of the computer. It may arrive via exploitation of a system vulnerability or by clicking on an infected e-mail.
• Rootkit:undetectable virus which attempts to allow someone to gain control of a computer system

Who created the first virus?

Elk Cloner used the boot sector to infected the desktop. 

How to remove a virus?

There are virus scanners and programs that do that for you like the one of microsof

Reflection: 
After all the research I have done I realize I should be more carefu; with the things I do in my computer like downloading music or movies, this may get my computer infected. Afterall I find out this topic really interesting. 
Still one question: Why did the created it?

google day 4

Today I practiced my skills with virtual dj and i almost have it skilled.
I also learned how to mix songs faster. this is a matter of time.

GOOGLE DAY #2

1. Be able to remix to songs together
2. Change  the song without being a stop
3. Learn how to do sound effect.

To be able to remix to songs you first have to download  two songs then you have to  add both song to the deck. Then you have to coordinate both songs so both song go at the same time. It will sound wierd but then you mkae 1 song sound harder  than the other.  http://www.digitaldjtips.com/tag/virtual-dj/  This link gives you tips so you can become better
To change a song and not making a silence in virtual dj is easy you have to have 2 songs and just scroll the bar to make 1 song song complete and the other keeps going but then you change it.
DJ VIRTUAL helps with sound effects you only recorder what you want to say it then add at any part of the song.
Dj virtual is something you have to play with to become good at it, in other ways by practicing you become better, experiencing new ideas, concepts, etc.

1.I agree that now a days people are based on the internet. People can't live without the internet.
2. I disagree that our lives are half online. I believe it is used but that you also have other things to do.
3. I agree that technology distracts people, it does people learn new ways of multitask, like play games, e mailing, on Facebook.
4.I  do agree that when you are on the computer you are multitasking without even knowing than when we have to concentrate.
5. I agree that if you turn off the mail as an example so you don't distract then people who sends you emails will say are you mad, why did you not respond?
6. I disagree kids use their cell phone more than 50 hours a week, I believe it is more.
7. I agree that Google makes people smarter because google ha s everything you want to learn or search.
8. I agree that using to much the internet could be harming  because it will become an addiction just like alcohol.
 9. I disagree that that video game is  not a disease I believe is more like a phenomena.
10. I disagree that being around video games can cause health problems. I believe it cna become a problem but you have to know how to use it.
11.  I agree that if people help people who are addicted can become better to their lives.
\12 . I agree that the revolution is going to fast, because like in Korea people teach kinds since little boys.
13. I agree that also Korea people are teaching them how to use the internet.
14. I agree that now a days little kids learn to use their computers like if there was something they learned since they are little.
15. I disagree that a class without technology is like a dessert. I think it is better because you disconnect.
16. I agree that teaching subjects like global studies should be teach with technology because you have more acess.
17.   I agree that if at school the block pages like youtube and facebook then they will learn other ways to get there.
18.  I disagree that students get distracted with a computer, they multitask.
19. I disagree that books will dissapear because of technology, but I BELIEVE that pages like sparknotes that give you the book in a matter of pages.
20. I agree that teachers can not assign large assingments because they will then use them on internet.
