Chrome extensions for students and teachers
First I would like to tell that extensions are little programs witch add useful feature and functionality to your browser.
Extensions are applications you add to the browser to make things easier. There are many types of extensions for use.
Useful extension for teachers:
A cleaner youtube: What this extension does is that you can show any type of video in youtube without showing comments or other related videos. I think this is an important extension for a teacher because the teacher can show the video with out having to be worried that they maybe bad things.
Google related: Google related is an extension that its really useful because what Google related does is that when you are browsing a thin bar shows related things of the web you are searching. it also gives you related videos an images. I think this one is really helpful for a teacher/students because for example you are learning about monkeys Google related will give you other resources you can use related to monkeys.
Snapify: Is an extension that lets you highlight any phrase at any page. It also gives you more information of the highlighted word. I think this useful for studying and for a teacher to take notes.
Speak it: This is an amazing tool what is does is that it reads the text for you. I think this is amazing for a teacher who is tired of reading this would read it for you.It does it in any language. Also this is helpful for a student that is not being able to concentrate this would read it for you.
Stay focused: Stay focused is an extension that what it does is that you give a time limit and it blocks all the pages you normally waste time. This is really cool for a student that is not doing his homework because of Facebook he would use stay focus to block it and then do his homework.
Speech recognition: Is a extension that records your voice and then writes what you said. This great for a teacher that is given a lecture and then speech recognition writes what she said and then can print out and give it to the students.
Chrome vis: is a n extension that is made for people with bad eye sight what it does is that it magnifies the page. Also you can highlight any part it makes it bigger. This is good for a student with bad sight.
Awesome Screenshot by Diigo: it lets you screenshot any webpage and annotated.
This is the coolest thing I found in may time there are many thing that are helpful.
